Okay, I'm loving this book so far, I might add on as I read on.
Willy, a 15 year old boy living in 1931, loses his mother and father to starvation as job-loss goes to an alltime high. His brother deserts him, so he and 5 other children group up and live together as a family. They find an abandon basement and live in it. One day Herbie, Deidra's little brother, is stolen by a hobo for slavery.(I know, that sounds soooooo bazarre)The remaining children set off to find him. -------------------- Hello, and please listen to the following random annoucment:

Hobos, people that ride the drags and have no money...O.o basically all of Lackawanna are hobos.o.o Ohhh ohhhh!!  Herbie is rescued in the end, one of the boys, Norman dies, and they hold a jewish funeal for him.^^ what a happy chapter that wuz. -------------------- Hello, and please listen to the following random annoucment:

or maby I just don't like funeral homes, sure there nice and all with that fancy shmancy stuff but it still seams lke a desolet place.
